Tesla reportedly starts wide FSD v14 testing in China, open to employees who own a Tesla

Tesla is preparing to launch wide-scale internal testing of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) v14 software in China, according to unconfirmed reports from Chinese bloggers, though the automaker has not officially announced the move or set a public rollout timeline.

The claim surfaced in a video from a former Tesla store manager, who said many employees have already received the first wave of non-disclosure agreement sign-up emails, and it was expanded by auto blogger Jike Alai, who said the Shanghai team that previously handled FSD v14 testing numbered around 1,000 people and that testing has now opened up to the entire company.

Under the reported plan, any employee who owns a Tesla vehicle would be eligible to try the new software, and participation involves training and assessment steps along with set deadlines, with everyone required to sign the confidentiality agreement before September 6 to keep test details from leaking out.

Tesla has already pushed a software update in North America that bundles FSD v14.3.8 with its summer release, while the China market is still waiting for FSD to scale up, and the new version has not yet reached regular owners there.
